At Cedar Hills Family Daycare we believe in creating an enriching environment where every child feels safe, and loved with individual attention. MEET THE OWNER
My name is Niki Lee, I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University Idaho and have gained valuable experience nannying for a weathly family for several years after collage. I am also a parent to three young children, including a one-year old who will be joing me at my daycare.
The inspiration for starting this daycare came from my realization that many facilities I evaluated lacked the essential qualities I desired for my children. I observed issues such as the odor of soiled diapers, children sitting on unclean floors, staff who did not uphold proper hygiene, and meals laden with preservatives. Knowing I wanted something far better for my child—and unable to find an adequate option—I decided to create one myself.
This daycare will provide a refreshing alternative to the typical facilities. It will feature a fun, clean, and nurturing environment, serving as a second home for your cherished children, situated in our spacious 2,000 + square foot open floor plan so caregivers can see and access all children at all times .
We also have a large bedroom with soundproofing to ensure quiet and uninterrupted naps for the children, as well as ample areas for play, crafts, story time, and learning activities.
At Cedar Hills Family Daycare, we prioritize healthy development and the growth of strong minds with comprehensive training programs.

Our daycare operates from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Closed on statutory holidays.
What are the safety measures in place.
Our home is located in a quiet low traffic area of Cedar Hills.
The daycare has its own private entrance from the house. The construction which just took place on March 2025 had the direction to be built as a daycare facility. Making strategic positioning to see all kids at all times. Ensuring maximum oversight.

Are you open year round
Yes, we are open the whole year through excluding weekends and statutory holidays.
What is your policy on discipline and child guidance?
We follow a positive child guidance model that includes recognizing why a child behaves in a certain way and encouraging children to regulate their own behaviour by giving them choices. When necessary, children are given time away from the situation to reflect on their behaviour and consider more appropriate responses with the support of their teacher.
Does my child need to be toilet trained?
This is a very common question, and the answer is no! We help our families by assisting in the toilet training process.
